Walls of China

Almost been here for two weeks now. And this is my first blog post from here. I didn't know that a blog would be blocked out here but it is. Sometimes I'm lucky with the Internet and that I am today. A good friend has borrowed me his VPN. A sneak way to the Internet that gives access to all blocked things. I have started the job. The first week with jet lag, but after that I'm all ok. Here in the beginning time is spend on figuring out how procedures is done at Style Butler. But now I have started sketching on the SS 2013 collection and it will be damn nice. I live just next door to the office so it only takes me 5 minutes to walk the route. It's a nice nabour hood with super marked, lots of bakers (very popular with bakers) and other daily shops. I'm cooking my own food which is a satisfaction for me. It's about 20 min from the downtown and that's ok in Shanghai. Normally I take a taxi. It's easy and cheap here. My road is called Hongmei Lu so look it up at google maps if you want to drop in for coffee :-) Im already ahead with eating good food at some amazing venues. There is a lot of smashing restaurants here in Shanghai so it's just to get startet. Can't post any pictures from my iPad so have to wait till I get hands on big brother: Mac book. 11 days from now I go back to Denmark for one week. Can't wait to see my love. I miss him soooooo much. Shanghai is calling

.....so, count down for my next adventure. This coming Sunday I fly out to the far east, Shanghai, to work at the Style Butler office as Design Manger. Shanghai is a great international city with skyline like New York and cozy concession areas that looks like Paris. Some of my favourite restaurants is out there. Butterflies is in my stomach. Im excited and nervous at the same time. Excited about the job. Style Butler represents a unique style and I look forward to be a part of it. Nervous for leaving everything behind. My big love, my dear friends, my lovely family. Well, it's not a good bye, it's a : see you soon here and there. Follow my adventure here at my blog.
